John merrick band is the now defunct lo-fi song bricolage of s.h. marreyt,
that culminated in a more experimental folky solo work-out under the moniker edgar
wappenhalter.
These days he's mostly occupied as a member of the psychedelic
jam band Sylvester Anfang II and a dozen other funeral folk related projects.
John Merrick Band shows Marreyts early experimentation in home recording,
heavily influenced by artists as Jason Corace, Wio and Rudy Trouvé.
